Job Description
The Nursing Supervisor will oversee hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with healthcare policies and regulatory standards. This role includes:
- Oversight of hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Providing professional guidance for nursing personnel, managing disciplinary issues, and preparing administrative reports.
- Reviewing staffing and budgetary needs, and integrating Nursing Services functions with other hospital departments.
- Participating in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assisting with continuing education programs.
Requirements
- Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse/RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Two years of Registered Nurse/RN nursing experience in a hospital.
- One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
