**Job Summary**
A compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Care Center at ScionHealth. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with established patient care philosophy
- Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and primary nursing principles
- Care for patients in Phase 1 of the post anesthesia care unit (PACU)
- Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care
- Document patient care given
- Provide nursing care through planning, organizing, and facilitating the nursing function for assigned patients
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient's status and reactions to interventions
**Requirements**
- Associates degree in Nursing, Required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, Preferred
- Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license
- Six (6) months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting
**Work Environment**
- Middle Adult (30 years to 59 years)
- Older Adult (60 years and above)
**Physical Demands**
- Rarely: Visual Acuity, Hearing, Speaking, Chemical, Cytotoxic Chemicals, Hazardous Chemicals
**Education Requirements**
