St Francis is HIRING for a full-time Unit Secretary for our Emergency Department.
The shift for this position is 3 - 12 hours shifts per week, working 7AM to 7PM.
The Unit Secretary through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors He/she performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtained within 6 months of hire
- One year experience in clerical work preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
