Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse - Advanced Skills to join our team at ScionHealth. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment, while also supporting the development of advanced clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized nursing care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, while ensuring accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Monitor patients' condition and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in discharge planning and education to ensure seamless transitions to other levels of care.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
