What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Services Worker 2 (Adult Protective Services) position at Scioto County Job and Family Services?
The minimum qualifications are as follows:
- Completion of coursework for undergraduate major field of study (i.e. social work, sociology, psychology) as required by college or university (or 6 months experience as Social Services Worker 1 in County Welfare MRDD, or 6 months experience as Social Worker for County Children Services 169 or 648 Boards, or community social service agency);
- Associate Degree in Social Work may be accepted if applicant completed comprehensive program with virtually all courses taken being in social work;
- Transcript required;
- Valid drivers' license, state minimum vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record;
- Must pass Drug Screen and BCI/FBI Background check.
