Scioto Trails' Waiver homes located in Pike and Scioto counties provide medical, behavioral, and therapeutic supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Accountability Objectives: Train and supervise Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals in implementing of services and programs on caseload. Assess, develop, implement and review plans to assure services are provided according to the individual service plan. To ensure programming and provide supervision according to Ohio Department of Human Services, Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of DD and other state, local and federal regulators of their caseload. To assist in assuring all regulations, Scioto Trails policies and procedures and resident needs are met and maintained at all times and be responsible for the operations of their caseload in the Waiver Department.
Minimum Requirements: Associates or Bachelor's degree in human services preferred, or related field or equivalent experience in the DD field will be considered. At least one (1) year experience working with individuals with DD required, LSW preferred. Prefer two (2) years' experience working with individuals with DD to be eligible to provide Limited Program Specialist Services. Use of discretion and independent judgment in oversight responsibilities and the delivery of services required. Required to have a valid Ohio Driver License and be insurable to drive company vehicles. Loss of license and/or insurability with company vehicles may result in loss of job. Must have the ability to provide therapeutic interventions during crisis situations and to effectively communicate with both verbal and non-verbal individuals. Must be willing and able to encourage and enhance involvement with guardians, families, significant others, community and other service providers. Must be willing to submit to and pass criminal background check, drug test, and reference check as required by state and federal regulations for Supported Living Services. Must take and pass Medication Certification and task specific delegation and maintain certification as outlined.
