What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Scipio Technologies?
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for engaging and establishing organizations as buying customers of our products and services. The AE evangelizes and sells our hosted PBX telecommunications/unified communication/Webex systems and services plus our premium fiber offerings. Candidate must reside and have existing business network in either of the following locations: Birmingham, Huntsville, or Nashville area.
- Meet and exceed all sales targets and performance metrics - monthly, quarterly, and annual recurring revenue (MRR) quotas
- Quickly learn and achieve expertise with Scipio products, services and pricing...must demonstrate a clear understanding immediately following face to face and computer based training
- Demonstrate strong focus on sales process
- Proven ability to master the lead identification process and to quickly execute the quote process and customer relationship management
- Maintain a sufficient pipeline to maintain quota achievement
- Expertly offer customers full VoIP and network solutions
- Work with sales engineer to ensure delivery of full solution to your customer
- Prospect new business opportunities via phone, face to face or via networking - leverage existing customers and personal networks in and around the Birmingham, Huntsville, or Nashville area
- Must have proven track record of building successful pipeline in the telecommunication space

- Self-motivated with strong drive to succeed and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, in-person, virtually and in writing
- Proficient with Microsoft applications paired with computer knowledge
- Ability to multitask in a fast moving environment
- Organizational and time-management skills, with strong propensity to multi-task
- CRM experience or relevant computer skills preferred
- Working knowledge of telecommunications products, fiber/data services, colocation and managed services
- Bachelors Degree Highly Preferred
- Minimum 5 years successful sales track record in the technology space is a must

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
