This global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Principal Scientist of High Content Imaging (HCI) to support small molecule discovery across multiple therapeutic areas. In this role, you will lead assay development, high-content screening, and advanced image analysis, directly contributing to target discovery and portfolio progression.
This position reports into the Senior Director of Pharmacology Group and offers the opportunity to shape and implement innovative strategies for leveraging HCI technologies in drug discovery. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-content imaging assays for target discovery, small molecule optimization, and mechanistic studies.
- Lead cell-based screening efforts using advanced high-throughput automated platforms and image analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate biological insights and advance portfolio progression.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field, with 5 years of industry experience in high-content imaging or related disciplines.
- Expertise in cell-based assay development, high-throughput imaging technologies, and advanced data analysis methods.
- Proven leadership and excellent communication skills to drive innovation and foster cross-functional collaboration.
