Project Manager
Location: Raritan, NJ (Four days on site, Friday can be WFH.)
Contract: 6-month contract (Must be open to conversion to FTE)
The Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to help execute critical projects, and implement procedures and upgrades for PMO Processes, tools, templates, and systems.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and execute critical projects that align with site technical and business goals
- Guide the creation and alignment of integrated project plans across functional teams
- Define interdependent deliverables, ensuring that quality, risk, cost, and time are controlled within the approved plan to achieve project milestones and objectives on schedule and within budget
- Facilitate milestone decision-making and deliverables across functions to achieve project goals, clearly outlining the critical path and decision criteria
- Standardize and implement PMO processes and playbook
- Upgrade and refine PMO tools, templates, and systems
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Science, or related field). PMP certification preferred.
- 6 years of experience managing and leading complex projects/programs within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven success in leading and negotiating within a matrix-based organization.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and negotiations effectively.
- Track record of successful project management in cross-functional drug development, clinical, regulatory, or pharmaceutical sciences teams.
- Deep knowledge of project management principles, with expertise in delivering time, cost, quality, and risk management in drug development.
- Experience creating and managing complex program plans, including global teams, budgeting, resource planning, and fiscal oversight.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with CAR T-cell therapy is highly useful
