Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for ensuring that areas of responsibility are adequately organized and staffed
- Ensure all delivery times are accurately met
- Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- Monitor and ensure compliance of all safety regulations
- Guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Coordinate with human resources to respond to employee needs, concerns or complaints
- Manage discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy
- Excellent, verbal, written and organizational skills combined with an aptitude for multi-tasking
Position Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent education and experience
- One to three years of work experience in a supervisory role is required
- Valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass comprehensive background check process in compliance with federal and regulatory guidelines
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written through all levels of an internal or external organization
- Ability to motivate a diverse work force toward sustained quality and productivity
- Safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
- Ability to work in a 24 hour, 7 day a week shift environment
- Ability to read, write, speak English as necessary for safe and efficient operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer application
- Employees may be required to provide vaccination status
