Summary
Scissortail Park Foundation (SPF) is looking for individuals to join this year’s seasonal staff. Team members are enthusiastic about park events, offering great customer service, have prior experience working with the public, and enjoy being outside.
SPF is hiring seasonal employees to assist with boat & skate rentals, special events, and retail sales of merchandise & prepackaged concessions while offering the best experience to every guest at the park.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring a wonderful guest experience during park visits.
- Assist with concession sales, retail sales, special events, safety orientations, boat & skate rentals, and general customer service.
- Provide daily inventory numbers to management.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Experience with point-of-sale software preferred, but not required. (Altru)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Exceptional guest services and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable being around water and assisting with boat rentals.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with the staff, volunteers, and guests.
- Established skill in working with diverse audiences, especially children.
- Must have the flexibility and willingness to work on evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift and push equipment, tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment, and boats.
- This position requires working outside in various weather conditions.
