SciTec is looking for an Operations Lead to drive success in a portfolio of programs executed from Buckley SFB. This role is critical in ensuring technical performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across projects.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction regarding project execution and deliverables.
- Oversee the technical management and integration of complex systems in support of program objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across all phases of program execution.
- Develop and maintain program schedules and resource plans, ensuring adherence to program timelines.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence and innovation amongst team members, guiding mentoring efforts to ensure skill development.
- Participate in program reviews, providing technical and managerial insights on progress, challenges, and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage risks and issues proactively, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on program performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering or program management, with a focus on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and best practices, particularly in Agile development.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Familiarity with Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) systems and their applications.
- Experience in business development or capture management within the defense sector.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering tools and practices.
