SCJ Commercial Financial Services is seeking a motivated Commercial Collector to manage past-due commercial accounts and assist in debt recovery efforts. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a queue of 250-350 past due commercial accounts, keeping a positive and professional attitude.
• Contact debtors via phone, email, or text every three days to discuss payment plans.
• Collaborate with debtors to create tailored, realistic payment solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all debt collection laws and regulations.
• Work closely with internal teams to assist in debt recovery.
• Use skip tracing techniques to locate debtors and reestablish communication.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Previous experience in debt collection or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure when handling difficult situations.
• Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to teamwork.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
