Your Role:
As a Chef de Cuisine, you’ll be integral to our kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient food service to help deliver exceptional dining experiences. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and present meals to meet guest or banquet event order specifications.
- Accurately measure and portion ingredients for consistency.
- Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to standards, procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Maintain thresholds in accordance with local health department guidelines, Ecosure and Hilton Brand Standards.
- Utilize and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and steamers.
- Manage inventory, ensuring that supplies are fresh and of high quality.
- Monitor food temperatures during cooking and ensure proper storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and kitchen.
- Oversee kitchen opening and closing tasks and support the F&B Leadership as needed.
- Prepare food for employee cafeteria or work banquet stations as scheduled.
- Complete creative control of all fascists surrounding culinary departments.
- Drive performance by holding the culinary department to a higher standard.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and BEO review meetings as scheduled.
- Focus the Culinary staff on their role in contributing to guest service scores.
- Other duties as assigned.
