The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic I is a junior level mechanic responsible for maintaining all building and facilities-related
equipment, machinery, and systems, including air compressors, steam boilers, water chillers, and air handlers associated with the
building HVAC. Assists in the installation of new equipment and performs scheduled preventative maintenance, work orders,
rebuilds, and repairs throughout the facility.

Estimated starting annual base salary is $30.00/ hour less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. • Maintain and operate boilers and accessory equipment including water chiller, cooling towers, purified water systems, air
  compressors, and other equipment across the facility.
•  Provide maintenance support throughout the facility.
• Understand and respond with the established escalation process when equipment is down.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and other areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Perform testing and treatment of facility process wastewater, document results and perform follow-up actions as needed.
• Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to update work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Write shift pass down notes and memos in email and other communication tools.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the building and facilities equipment.
• Support the installation and startup of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a daily record of time and parts involved with assignments.
• Collaborate with mechanics, electricians, production workers and other staff to promptly resolve facilities issues.
• Ensure facility is prepared for fire-related hazards and emergencies including maintaining fire extinguishing equipment,
  alarms and exits.
• Maintain restroom equipment and sewer line functionality when required.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of mechanical maintenance and/or general facilities experience in a manufacturing facility.
• 1 year of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, teamwork, time management and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office including Outlook.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics, electrical, plumbing and welding techniques and capable of utilizing standard shop
  equipment.
• Good time management, communication, teamwork, organization, and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires
standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
