The Mogul Lead supports large-scale food manufacturing processes involving sophisticated systems and machinery. The Mogul Lead
has demonstrated mastery of all product production functions including batch making, cooking colors/flavors addition processing,
starch depositing and curing and provides day to day leadership and training to product manufacturing staff. The Mogul Lead
supports troubleshooting and the identification of problems as they arise, ensures that all process related documentation and
specifications are met and escalates issues to management as needed.

Estimated starting annual base salary is $26.11-$39.16/hour less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. •  Provide direct support and training to staff involved in the operation of depositors and kitchen/cooking equipment to
  customer and Company specifications. Operate machinery, as needed.
• Oversee scheduling and assignment of duties to Mogul Machine Operators for daily activities.
• Ensure accurate reporting of monthly actuals, dynamic forecasting, and related commentary to leadership.
• Maintain quality and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate and interact constantly with other leads, supervisors, and other departments.
• Ensure that all work meets Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, sanitation, and other Company guidelines.
• Maintain thorough understanding of AIB, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other requirements.
• Ensure prompt reaction to schedule and/or specification changes.
• Verify Mogul Machine Operators’ training and performance, and address deficiencies in coordination with management.
• Collaborate with team including Utility Workers, Mogul Machine Operators, Production Supervisors and Manager.
• Establish schedules and support breaks, lunch, and other rotation schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation.
• Verify highest quality features of the product in every run.
• Coordinate ingredient inventory levels with planning and inventory controls.
• Meet production goals as assigned.
• Interact with computer software to read production schedules, enter downtime, scrap, document units produced, etc.
• Ensure adherence to housekeeping in line with GMP/NSF standards (includes routine, deep and caustic cleaning).
• Pre-weigh materials as needed, including preparing documentation and labels, coordinating delivery of materials, verifying
  status in system (AMAPS) and updating pallet placard quantities (using QR codes).
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure use of raw materials based on specifications.
• Lead the training of team members on related tasks and requirements as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of gummy manufacturing machine operation experience with proven mastery in the operation of all stations.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Solid reading comprehension, decision-making, teamwork, time-management, analytical and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with production management software.
• Understanding of all related GMP requirements.
• Intermediate material handling knowledge.
• Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of mathematics performing calculations and conversions.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires
standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.  move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
