What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Sundae Maker position at Scoop N Scootery Allston?
The Scoop N Scootery is a local ice cream sundae shop and delivery restaurant popular in the greater Boston area for our decadent sundaes and late night hours. We are looking for an upbeat and ambitious team member who will be learning to scoop, top, and send appealing sundaes out on delivery. Our store is owned and managed by young entrepreneurs who are passionate about the work we do and our team dynamic. After a temporary training period, you should be able to memorize our most popular sundae toppings, and will make $18-24 per hour after tips. After your training period, there will be many opportunities for growth within the company as it is a fast-growing business.
Responsibilities of this position include:
-Learning about our extensive sundae menu and becoming a sundae expert.
-Transferring between positions in the store with agility and purpose.
-Maintaining cleanliness of your work stations and the overall cleanliness of the store.
-Taking customer orders, answering questions and instructing customers about our menu as well as providing customer service over the phone for delivery customers.
-Scooping and topping up to hundreds of sundaes per shift quickly and accurately.Adding to our close-knit work family environment by having fun at work.
-You should have availability to work evenings and weekends.
