Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management – Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a positive team environment.
Customer Experience – Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and resolving any customer concerns.
Inventory & Ordering – Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure product availability to maintain seamless operations.
Personnel Management – Support hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching team members to build a strong and motivated staff.
Store Performance & Reports – Track key performance metrics, analyze sales data, and assist the manager in meeting store goals.
POS System & Cash Handling – Ensure accurate transactions, cash handling, and adherence to financial policies.
Food & Beverage Quality – Assist in beverage preparation while upholding Scooter’s standards for consistency and excellence.
Health & Safety Compliance – Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a leadership or management role (coffee shop or food service experience preferred).
Ability to train, coach, and motivate a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
Dependable availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Excellent communication skills with both customers and staff.
Proficiency in using POS systems and managing inventory.
Who You’ll Report To:
The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Store Manager, supporting all aspects of store operations while ensuring the highest level of service and efficiency.
