What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Scopa Italian Roots?
Scopa Italian Roots is an Italian Venice staple restaurant by chef Antonia Lofaso.
We’re currently looking for an experienced host to help run the door. Must be available on weekends and Sundays.
- Minimum of 1-year customer service oriented experience as a DOOR PERSON & OR HOST in the food and beverage industry. Resy or open table experience a plus, grid experience even better!!
- Have a high sense of responsibility and passion to provide genuine hospitality.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great enthusiasm and managing job responsibilities.
- High volume experience is a plus.
- TEAM PLAYER with strong work ethics, take initiative and a 'can do' positive attitude while working within the company operations guidelines. Great personality w/ a record of working well within a team environment.
-Delightful presence and great communication required.
-We like to have a good time and show our guests the best hospitality we can, no matter how busy.
- The ability to multitask: normal hosting duties, greet and seat guests, help with to go’s, and ensure guests enjoy their evening with us.
