Whitefish Outfitters & Tours is expanding its operations with the launch of Glacier Adventure Center and Scope Asset Management, two distinct but complementary business units.

• Glacier Adventure Center (GAC) is a premier booking service connecting visitors to the best outdoor experiences in the Flathead Valley, from guided tours to self-planned excursions.
• Scope Asset Management provides second-home property management services, offering homeowners peace of mind through regular property inspections, concierge services, and maintenance solutions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile General Manager to oversee the launch and operations of both Glacier Adventure Center and Scope Asset Management. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to juggle two distinct business models. The ideal candidate will have experience in tourism, hospitality, property management, or business development and a deep understanding of the Whitefish & Glacier area.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Operations

• Oversee daily operations for both businesses, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of services.
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Build and refine operational systems to maximize efficiency and maintain service excellence.
• Adapt to the seasonal nature of both businesses, optimizing resources and revenue year-round.

Customer & Client Relations

• For Glacier Adventure Center, create seamless booking experiences and maintain strong relationships with local tour operators and activity providers.
• For Scope Asset Management, develop client trust by providing top-tier home management solutions and personal service.
• Ensure guests and clients receive exceptional service, exceeding expectations at every interaction.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Recruit, train, and manage a small but growing team for each business unit.
• Foster a high-energy, customer-focused, and employee-centric work culture.
• Lead by example, maintaining high performance standards and an adaptable, problem-solving mindset.

Sales, Marketing & Growth Strategy

• Develop marketing campaigns to attract adventure-seekers to Glacier Adventure Center and property owners to Scope Asset Management.
• Expand business partnerships, working with local outfitters, realtors, and hospitality businesses.
• Drive revenue growth through creative problem-solving, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.

Logistics & Scheduling

• Manage and optimize scheduling across both business units to accommodate fluctuating seasonal demands.
• Ensure smooth coordination of adventure bookings and property management services.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leadership experience in business, hospitality, tourism, or property management.
• Proven experience in tourism booking, concierge services, real estate, or home management is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park tourism industry.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and refine new business processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and peak seasons.
• Experience in sales, marketing, and customer service.
