organization is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain &
Strategic Sourcing to oversee enterprise-wide procurement, inventory
management, and supplier strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role
with executive exposure, overseeing all categories of spend across a
diverse portfolio of hospitality, retail, food & beverage, indirect
categories, and capital projects.
About the Role
The Director will lead a team of 80 professionals across procurement,
warehousing, and inventory management, with 4-5 direct reports at
the managerial level. This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on
experience in building category strategies, optimizing ERP systems,
and developing procurement processes.
The organization is undergoing a major expansion, requiring strong
forecasting, supplier negotiation, and strategic sourcing expertise.
The role also involves mentoring and developing the supply chain team
to transition from transactional procurement to a more strategic, value-
driven function.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise-Wide Procurement Strategy – Manage all sourcing
operations across multiple properties and business units.
Team Leadership & Development – Lead and mentor a team of 80
FTEs, including warehouse, purchasing, and inventory teams.
Category Management & Supplier Relations – Develop category
strategies from scratch, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee
supplier performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with finance,
chefs, operations, and executives to forecast demand and optimize
procurement.
Process & ERP Optimization – Improve ERP utilization (Red
Rock or similar), procurement tools, and reporting processes.
Multi-Site Procurement Management – Oversee multiple
properties, ensuring efficient sourcing, warehousing, and
distribution.
Indirect Procurement Oversight – Manage indirect spend
categories, including marketing, travel, professional services,
and other non-direct costs.
Budget Oversight & Cost Savings – Drive cost-saving initiatives
while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or
strategic sourcing.
5 years in a senior leadership role, managing multi-site
procurement operations.
Proven ability to build procurement strategies without relying on
corporate structures.
Experience managing a large team (80 employees) with 4-5
direct reports.
ERP experience (Red Rock or similar) and familiarity with GPO
purchasing (e.g., Buyers Edge).
Expertise in supplier negotiations, category management, and
contract strategy.
Background in hospitality, food & beverage, gaming, retail, or
multi-category procurement preferred.
High-level executive presence – experience working with senior
leadership teams.
