Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers to achieve department and plant objectives
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members
- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation
- Process Development and Optimization:
- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for HVAC products
- Ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality and safety standards
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Project Management:
- Manage engineering projects, including new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, and equipment installations

- Quality Assurance and Control:

- Equipment and Technology Management:

- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and supplies for production
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze production data to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, efficiency, quality, and cost metrics
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
- Training and Development:
- Provide technical training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in the HVAC or related industry
- Proven experience in process design, project management, and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products and manufacturing processes

- Proficiency in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles
