The Firm has an opening for a full-time Endpoint Administrator in the Firm’s Indianapolis office. The Firm has developed an optional 3-2 hybrid work schedule where employees are expected to work from the Indianapolis office at least three days per week and may opt to work from home up to two days per week.
The Opportunity
This position will focus on software deployment and management of endpoints via Microsoft Intune and use best practices to create efficiencies, improve user experience, and manage risk on 180 devices across 10 cities.
Candidates should also expect to provide technical support in the evaluation, installation, and monitoring of a distributed computing environment. As part of the IT team, candidate will be expected to interface with Firm users in the identification and resolution of computer problems as well as other daily support issues. They also should expect to participate in the development and maintenance of release management controls and standard installation and upgrade methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned depending on candidate’s skills.
- Assistance with developing, maintaining, and supporting Windows 11 operating system images.
- Packaging and deployment of software applications, configurations, and updates across Windows 11 environments, as well as iOS devices.
- Working closely with other IT team members to ensure application and device deployments meet the needs of the Firm.
- Conducting and managing quality control processes and version control as part of the technology delivery process.
- Work with team members to keep applications patched and operating on current and stable versions.
- Running frequent reports to ensure compliance of deployed applications and updates, including Windows Updates, Microsoft Office updates, and other third-party application updates.
- Provide technical support for a variety of on premise and cloud-based applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, NetDocuments, Zoom, Office-integrated plug-ins, and various legal practice and operational applications.
- Provide Helpdesk with technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems and questions about Firm software.
- Management of the Firm’s data backup systems.
Essential Job Requirements
- Computer Science or similar IT degree is preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm supporting software used to meet legal practice requirements is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, VBScript, or AutoIt.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- 2 years of work experience with system management software required, preferably with some experience in Microsoft Intune.
- Commitment to customer service and willingness to learn new products and technologies.
- Excellent trouble shooting, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
