We are looking for a North America based Senior Director of Engineering to join an unannounced title and lead the way to launch and live operations. Our mobile game is in the final stages of development and will be Scopely’s next major F2P title.

What You Will DoAs the Senior Director of Engineering you will own the technical vision and delivery for the project and lead a small team of Scopely engineers. Working with local and external developers you will set the technical standards for launch and beyond, and guide teams to delivery of a high quality live operations game.Your role will include :
- Close collaboration with project leadership on prioritization and planning
- Identifying challenges and collaborating on technical solutions
- Maintaining and communicating focused technical roadmap up to and beyond launch
- Leading timely delivery through local and external development partners
- Maintaining collaborative and productive relationships with external development partners
- Mentoring team members and providing support for their career growth and development
- Ensuring stability, scalability and cost effectiveness of all game systems and supporting services
- Working with Scopely live operations partners to ensure they have the capabilities and tooling to manage the game at scale
