About the Position The Product & Merchandising Manager is responsible for product merchandising and product management, from strategic planning to final product commercialization for Score’s apparel and equipment products. This individual will be responsible for creation from concept (brief) to launch, leading a cross-functional team (development, design, sales, planning, etc.), adhering to project objectives, cost targets and timeline. About You * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product merchandising / product management. * Advanced knowledge of apparel and team sport product development processes. * Experience with team sports apparel and equipment required. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and costing. * Detail-oriented with proven skills in project management coordinating with multiple internal departments and external vendors. * Highly agile, adaptable, and capable of working effectively on a small team. * Ability to communicate technical issues clearly in written and verbal form fluently in English. * Independent, decisive, and proactive in bringing new ideas and solutions to the team. * Strong computer skills including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite. * Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally * Ability to communicate technical issues clearly in written and verbal form. * Proactive in bringing new ideas and solutions to the team. * Strong strategic and critical thinking skills * Self-starter, self-driven and highly motivated * Bachelor’s degree in design, development, product management or additional work experience in the design, development, or manufacture of consumer products, preferably technical apparel. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the product merchandising and product management process from design brief to bulk production delivery. * Manage GTM process from consumer / customer research, concept, brief, development / production timelines, milestone meetings, and updates to team members. * Manage and track costing to ensure products are sourced efficiently and align with margin goals. * Evaluate and help resolve potential issues in design tech packages, BOMs, patterns, and components. * Maintain development documentation to ensure product information is accurate at each checkpoint. * Discover, qualify, and manage relationships with vendors to meet product requirements. * Develop and maintain competitive landscape intelligence including market trends, retail landscapes, competitors, existing products, new product opportunities, competitive pricing, and marketing strategies * Build and maintain ongoing product roadmap to align with company strategic growth initiatives. * Work closely with Design, Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to communicate accurate product information, build successful partnerships, and product activations * Achieve a deep understanding of Score’s customers to inform product development. * Build and maintain product roadmap to align with company strategic growth initiatives. * Understand and research trends in materials to identify key product opportunities. * Ensure consistency and quality of product specifications across multiple vendors and suppliers. * Develop and continuously improve Score’s Go-To-Market process. Salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 plus bonus opportunity, dependent on experience and contribution.
