We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations, ensuring that Scorez Sports Grill remains the go-to spot for sports fans in Waxahachie. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about all major sports, keep up with days and times of games and events, and have a passion for creating an environment where every fan feels at home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, food and beverage quality, inventory, and cleanliness. Ensure smooth service during high-traffic periods, especially during game days and special events.

• Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Lead by example and handle performance evaluations, coaching, and conflict resolution.

• Guest Experience:

Ensure every guest has an outstanding experience by maintaining high standards of customer service, addressing guest feedback promptly, and creating an engaging atmosphere.

• Sports Expertise:

Stay updated on all major sporting events, including NFL, NBA, MLB, boxing, and other leagues, and ensure staff and guests are aware of game schedules. Maintain a sports-focused environment that caters to fans and enhances the viewing experience.

• Financial Oversight:

Manage budgets, monitor costs, and ensure profitability. Track and analyze sales data, labor costs, and expenses to meet financial goals.

• Marketing and Events:

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, events, and game-day specials to drive traffic and enhance the Scorez brand.

• Compliance and Safety:

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations. Ensure all employees follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the restaurant, hospitality, or sports bar industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management style.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory, and labor costs.
• Knowledgeable about sports and game schedules, including NFL, NBA, MLB, boxing, and more.
• Passion for sports, food, and creating memorable customer experiences.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
