Overnight Sales Opportunity
As an Overnight Sales Associate with Scotchman, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store during overnight hours. This role requires a unique blend of skills, including cash handling expertise, special product handling, and stock management.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide warm and personalized service to customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional manner.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions using an electronic cash register, maintaining a high level of accuracy and transparency.
- Stock Management: Maintain a well-stocked store environment by replenishing merchandise and supplies throughout the night.
- Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment by sanitizing equipment and areas, adhering to proper cleaning procedures.
- Trash Removal: Regularly clean and empty trash containers, maintaining a tidy and organized store.
- Vendor Deliveries and Stock Rotation: Check in vendor deliveries according to company guidelines, ensure shelves are stocked, rotated, and front-faced, and remove damaged and out-of-code merchandise.
- Bad Merchandise Resolution: Resolve issues with defective merchandise by completing the bad merchandise form, contributing to operational excellence.
- Adaptability: Embrace a flexible mindset and assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet store operational needs.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (for certain states). For all other states, must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication Skills: Effective reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
- MATH Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
