We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our sales team as Overnight Sales Associates. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills, build strong relationships with customers, and contribute to the success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, providing personalized service and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions using an electronic cash register, maintaining a high level of accuracy and transparency.
- Stock Management: Maintain a well-stocked store environment by replenishing merchandise and supplies throughout the night.
- Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment by sanitizing equipment and areas, adhering to proper cleaning procedures.
- Trash Removal: Regularly clean and empty trash containers, maintaining a tidy and organized store.
- Vendor Deliveries and Stock Rotation: Check in vendor deliveries according to company guidelines, ensure shelves are stocked, rotated, and front-faced, and remove damaged and out-of-code merchandise.
- Bad Merchandise Resolution: Resolve issues with defective merchandise by completing the bad merchandise form, contributing to operational excellence.
- Adaptability: Embrace a flexible mindset and assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet store operational needs.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (for certain states). For all other states, must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication Skills: Effective reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
- MATH Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to a criminal history background check.
