Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for our residential properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. This position requires strong customer service skills, and knowledge of leasing agreements. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with current and prospective tenants while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and guiding them through the leasing process.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters.
- Prepare and manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while maintaining company interests.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, contracts, and other relevant documentation using property management software such as OneSite.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings.
- Stay informed about local housing laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Experience in legal administrative tasks related to leasing contracts is advantageous.
- Proficiency in office software and property management systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles is a plus.
- A background in law or real estate is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
