Under general supervision, performs grounds keeping and custodial duties for County facilities, parks and recreation fields. Custodial duties maintain clean parks, shop areas, bathrooms and offices.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Landscaping duties include mowing grass, trimming, edging, raking, leveling dirt, weed control, planting shrubbery, picking up trash, etc.Custodial duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restroom facilities, dusting, emptying trash, etc.Performs other related work as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including tractor, truck, mowers (riding and push), blower, edger, chain saw, various and other grounds-keeping tools, etc. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.Criminal Records check, drug screen, and references will be required for the successful candidate.
