Works under the supervision of the Imaging Director and COO/VP Operations. Responsible for the overall day-to-day management, administration and service provided in the Imaging Department to include the Outpatient Imaging Center. Performs other duties as assigned. Available 24 hours per day.
Scotland Health Care System is seeking a highly engaged and dedicated Manager for our Imaging Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to patient care. The Manager, Imaging works under the supervision of the Imaging Director. Responsible for the overall management of Diagnostic Imaging and Clerical Staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of imaging professionals, including radiologic technologists and support staff.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and optimize imaging services.
- Monitor and manage the department's budget, resources, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R, or ARRT-NM or ARRT-US) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- BLS certification
- Minimum two (2) years clinical experience.
- Bachelor's degree. Will consider Associate degree, with Five (5) years of clinical experience.
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
