What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk position at Scotland Memorial Hospital?
The payroll clerk is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll, accurate use of time and attendance and payroll interface systems and reconciliation of payroll reports and deposits for Scotland Health Care System. Duties also include journal entry input, teammate garnishment set up and review of payroll bi-weekly, quarterly and annual IRS forms such as Form 941 and Form W2. Additional duties also include preparing the bi-annual North Carolina sales tax refund report and other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications include associate degree in business or related field, Bachelors degree preferred.
