Scotlynn is looking for a Marketing Specialist who thrives in building, partnering and leading the way for others relative to important marketing projects enabling the continued recognition of our brand and growth!

The ideal candidate will be onsite in Fort Myers, FL.

Objectives of the Role

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns that align with company objectives. This role will create compelling content, analyze marketing data, and manage cross-functional marketing projects to enhance brand awareness and engagement. The Marketing Specialist will represent and promote Scotlynn and will work within the policies and procedures established by Scotlynn.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Operations, Fort Myers and Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supports the development and execution of Marketing campaigns to support business objectives.
  • Assist with maintaining project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure campaign success.
  • Create marketing content, including ad copy, email campaigns, blog articles, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze marketing data and campaign performance to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
  • Support SEO initiatives, website updates, and email marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to align marketing strategies.
  • Assist with public relations and external communications in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Support digital advertising campaigns and audience segmentation efforts.
  • Assist in social media strategy execution as part of broader marketing initiatives.
  • Represent Scotlynn in a high degree of professionalism in communications, interactions, and systems processes.
  • Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Director of Operations FMY and Marketing Lead.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Primary Experience: Strong understanding of marketing tactics to get the work completed, the elements of campaign development, and content creation.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and content management systems is an asset.
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of SEO, digital advertising, and website optimization is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Relationships

With the Director of Operations and local marketing resources (Fort Myers)

Receives supervision, direction, and support related to day-to-day work within the US offices; discusses priorities, timelines, and project needs; receives guidance on local collaboration, connections, and resources; maintains a cooperative working relationship with key stakeholders who they serve to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with office operations.

With the Marketing Lead (Vittoria, Ontario Canada)

Receives supervision, direction, guidance on overall marketing strategies, brand standards, and project execution; discusses campaign plans, timelines, and deliverables; provides regular updates, receives feedback, and collaborates on creative development; maintains a strong working relationship to ensure consistency and alignment with broader marketing goals.

With Key Stakeholders

Act as a resource and facilitator for marketing needs from stakeholders who need marketing services. Maintains strong partnerships, cooperation and provides operational guidance for all team members. Positive, creative and operational mindset in day-to-day interactions.

With the General Public

Represents and promotes the interests of Scotlynn; works in courteous, co-operative positive and proactive manner.

Working Conditions

The Marketing Specialist has a high degree of contact with internal and external stakeholders as related to Scotlynn. A high degree of pressure subject to deadlines and interruptions. Work requires attention to detail, good judgment, ability to work independently; interact with diplomacy and tact; must maintain confidentiality and act in the best interest of Scotlynn. Work is primarily located in an office setting, occasional local travel as required by the Director of Operations and Marketing Lead.
