Mission
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. They will work closely with production staff and management to maintain high standards of product quality and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Principle Activities
- Inspect Materials and Products
Conduct routine and random inspections of products
Verify products meet quality standards
Perform visual and in-depth inspections to ensure defects are not present and all products are consistent
- Participate in audits and sorts.
- Repair
High skill repair (brazing, run test, troubleshooting).
- Processing freight claims and customer returns.
- Train employees as needed.
- Handles new product testing.
- Other duties as specified.
Financial/Risk Control
To conduct oneself in accordance with all company policies at all times.
Skills and Knowledge
Computer literacy. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Email, etc. Detail oriented.
Must be certified Brazer
Must be certified Run-Test
Troubleshooting knowledge
Ability to train as needed
Required Education/ Certification
Forklift Certification must be acquired within 30 days of hire.
Required Experience
1 year Brazing
1 year Run Test
Physical Requirements
Must be able to bend and lift as needed. Standing/sitting up to 8 hours.
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
