This is a part time entry level position and the work involves organizing library materials, assisting patrons, and light cleaning duties at the Eldridge branch of the Scott County Library System. This is a year round position that averages 8-10 hours per week. Applicants must be 16 or older.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsible for shelving items in correct order and maintaining a neat and orderly collection.Assists patrons with basic library questions and office equipment like the public copier.Empties book drops and sorts items appropriately.Performs light cleaning duties.Responsible for preparing library for closing by completing an assigned list of duties.Preforms basic circulation duties.Other duties as assigned and needed.
