What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Loader Operator position at Scott Davis Chip Company, Inc.?
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment. Primarily a front end loader.
- Perform tasks such as pushing and loading wood chips and bark.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with manager and team members to ensure safety and continuity of operations.
Requirements
- Experience operating a front end loader is required.
- Stamina to operate front end loader for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and procedures.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Other Important Information For You To Know
- Please note the starting pay rate. This may vary depending on previous experience.
- Schedule is usually Monday – Thursday 7 am – 5 pm & Friday 7 am – 4 pm.
- Weekends aren’t typical but may be required periodically.
- Due to slow periods in production there may be times where hours could be capped at 40/week maximum.
