What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screenprinter position at Scott Electric Company?
Scott Electric has a current opening at our Norvelt, PA branch for a Screenprinter within our Scott Print & Stitch Division. In this position, you will be working “hands-on” in a production environment responsible for screen printing on apparel or textiles.
Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the complete process of operating a manual or automatic screen-printing press. Other assigned duties as required or requested.
This position operates within the hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Mon-Fri with an occasional Saturday depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- Lead by example.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to lift, maneuver or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to multi-task and have a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Follow direction and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
- Guarantee good quality and high production rates with limited mistakes.
- Able to analyze and understand graphic design work orders for accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of screen printing or graphic arts preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable.
