Full Time Dye House Operator - Second Shift

This is a full-time, second shift role with flexible hours. This role will quickly cross-train into our Yarn Department. 10-20% of your time will be in Yarn. Pay is $18.60/hr with an increase once fully cross-trained.

DUTIES

Ø Prepare yarn for dyeing process following job card instructions:

Ø Assist Lead Dye Technician in Dyeing yarns

Ø Operate dyeing machinery according to job card instructions

Ø Operate radio frequency yarn dryer

Ø Record production details as required

Ø Obtain Hi-Lo certification and operate as required

Ø Carry out other duties as required by lead dye technician.

ABILITIES

Ø Follow precise instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ø Operate electronic devices and interfaces including computers, machine controllers, scales, bar code readers

Ø Can work in confined spaces

Ø Able to communicate well with others in the English language

Ø Climb stairs and ladders.

Ø Lift and move 50 lbs easily

Ø Dependable, self starter
