What are the responsibilities and job description for the High-rise Multifamily Superintendent position at Scott Humphrey Corporation?
The Superintendent will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of ground-up Multifamily projects valued at $20M-$100M . The Superintendent will be responsible for project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.
Select Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments
- Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements
- Schedule and monitor material deliveries
- Perform daily quality control walks
- Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction
- Organize city inspections
- Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications
- Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials
- Attend project status meetings and assist in problem-solving efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field and/or applicable work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent on ground up Multifamily projects
- Proficiency in construction computer software and Microsoft Office
