Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and highly organized Client Services Specialist to join our team in a well-established financial and insurance office in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. In this role, you will be assistant to the Financial Advisor, primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs and experiences with our services are exceptional. You will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments and meetings, organizing and maintaining files, composing correspondance and other communications, producing insurance illustrations, performing other tasks in and out of the office and running occasional errands as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills. Pay is based off of experience and licensing, plus quarterly bonus potential after the first 90 days.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for clients, prospects and vendors calls and emails.
- Plan and schedule meetings, appointments and assist with office events.
- Punctually open the office daily. Hours of operation 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Prepare required materials for financial appointments.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on projects, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage filing and review of financial transactions.
- Assist in project management tasks, coordinating with other office staff to ensure successful delivery of services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- 1 plus year of office experience.
- Ability to get Insurance and Securities licensed.
- Computer abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office and common office software and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Discretion in dealing with confidential and private information is a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Consistently bright, sunny and cheerful disposition, enthusiastic approach to learning, and cooperative attitude with staff and management to accomplish our mission.
- A background in sales or an understanding of sales processes can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong skills in customer relationship management.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
