What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Financial Officer position at Scott Jeffries Associates?
NYC based, middle market real estate investment/management company that invests in non traditional real estate assets is looking to bring in a CFO - ideally 10 years of experience within the real estate industry . . . Candidate should be a CPA and have moved up through the Controller function.
Position will report to the CEO and be involved in the following:
-Lead, hire, manage, mentor accounting, finance and asset management staff
-Oversee all financial functions of various entities including strategy/growth, investor relations, finance, accounting and operations
-Support acquisition onboarding process through entity creation, bank structures and cost segregation reports
-Lead monthly and quarterly external financial review for multiple capital partners
-Collaborate with CEO and CIO to surface, plan for and support growth and cost savings initiatives
-Identify areas for process improvement, execute change management implementation and communications
-Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, budgets, portfolio analysis, reporting to investing partners
-Manage the process of building a platform capable of supporting continued rapid growth, build reporting verticals for new asset classes, and be on the leading edge of technology and data analytics
