Full time, year-round
The Event Coordinator is responsible for implementing, booking, and organizing our events. This position is work from hone anytime there is not an in-person meetings or events. The Event Coordinator will report directly to the managing partner and may be assigned other responsibilities based on location, attendance, staffing, and scheduling.
Requirements
- Join our weekly Monday morning conference call
- Use company phone, email, and text messages to communicate with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in our annual Mock Recall
- Attend industry agritourism industry events
- Must be able and willing to complete an Alcoholic Server Training Program and receive a TABC Server License within 2 months of starting the job
- Must be able to work in the outside elements, and seasonally long hours including nights and weekends.
- Must be able to lift up-to 42 pounds and carry at least 250 feet.
- Must be able to enter and exit farm machinery and vehicles safely.
- Ability to learn how to operate farm implements.
- Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and respond appropriately to ensure safety of guests and co-workers.
- Must communicate effectively. This includes responding to 75% of all communication during normal business hours within 30 minutes and the remaining 25% within 2 hours.
- Collect deposits, payments, and signed contracts from customers
- Check for damages and deduct repairs and replacements from deposits as needed.
- Work with other team members to update content calendar and advertise.
- Communicate staffing needs to management well in advance of event.
Key Results Area
Key Results Area #1 – Public Events
- Bonuses start after 2,500 yearly tickets are sold (excluding pick-your-own)
- Create an event documentation to distribute to team members explaining event details
- Be on-site for ALL events
- Setup and cleanup all areas for the needs of the event
- Responsible for food and beverage coordination and services
Key Results Area #2 – Private Events
- Bonuses include 5% of gross private event sales
- Provide venue tours to potential wedding parties and corporate events
- Provide day-of coordination services for all private events
- Lead safety calls for each event
- Setup and cleanup all areas for the needs of the event
- Coordinate vendor arrivals and drop-offs
- Be the main point of contact for the customer
Key Results Area #3 – Photo Sessions
- Field photo session requests
- Book sessions in Checkfront
- Greet guests and supervise photo sessions
Key Results Area #4 – Rental Items
- Keep an accurate inventory of rental items updated on the website
- Organize pick-up and delivery of rental items
- Clean, repair, and maintain inventory to preserve their condition
- Connect with potential customers to increase rentals
- Receive inventory returns while checking for damage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
