Job Summary
The Class-action Associate Litigation Attorney will work on shareholder derivative matters.
This is a full time, salaried role based at Scott Scott Wilmington, Delaware office with the potential to win increasing responsibilities within the practice group and attain professional growth by demonstrating knowledge, aptitude, and skill.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate shareholder demands and actions.
- Generate and answer discovery, including records requests.
- Conduct and defend basic depositions.
- Produce a high volume of legal briefs, including dispositive motions.
- Actively engage in case management.
- Regularly communicate and coordinate with co-counsel.
- Travel to depositions, meetings and hearings when necessary.
