Production Team Lead – 2nd Shift

Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Production Manager
Responsibilities:
As a Production Team Lead, you are responsible for all job activities required to support production processes. These activities may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and educate to SAFETY practices and policies
- Managing work: Organizing work, delegating tasks, and setting goals
- Communicating goals to team members and reporting progress to Production Manager
- Problem solving issues that come up during the shift and resolving any conflicts
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations for 2nd shift
- Material identification
- Inspecting for quality conformance
- Use of internal ERP system to receive and track use of material
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic math & reading skills
- Possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills and safety practices
- Possess a high level of initiative and personal accountability
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
- Attention to detail and consistent work patterns
- Experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer program knowledge for data entry
- Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious
- Ability to learn and operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Forklifts Certification a plus but not required
- Overhead cranes experience a plus but not required
- Previous experience with precision instruments a plus but not required
