Job Summary
We are an established and respected law office seeking a Legal Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our professional team. With over 30 years of experience in legal practice, our office offers a supportive environment for those eager to learn and grow in the legal field.

Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courtesous manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized Google Calendar.
- Download, organize, and manage E-Service documents and other digital files.
- Assist with client communications and intake processes.
- Use and manage Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, OneDrive).
- Maintain a high level of organization to ensure deadline and priorities are met.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members on tasks related to criminal defense, dependency, and family law cases.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy is a priority.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, OneDrive).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new processes or technologies.
- Passion for the legal field and interest in professional growth.
- Previous experience in a legal setting or a paralegal certificate is a plus, but not required.
Salary
Starting at $15/hour, with increase after 90 days. Additional raises based on performance after one year.
