X-ray tech wanted for taking foot and ankle x-rays as well as for general back-office assistance. X-ray tech will primarily be responsible for performing x-ray exams as well as for general medical assistance work in the back office. Tech will also secondarily be cross trained to help with front office/general office duties, such as responding to faxes and emails, taking calls and making patient appointments.
Clinic days/times are usually Mon through Thurs. from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Clinic days are sometimes scheduled on a Friday and if so we usually only see patients in the mornings with afternoon being reserved to complete other tasks. Tuesday clinics are held at a satellite office where we drive there as a group and x-ray service is not performed there. We need general office assistance at that location with main emphasis on back-office help. We need this position for at least Mon. through Thurs with the possibility of additionally involving working on Fridays from half a day to a full day.
Required to be a registered x-ray technologist. Experience preferred but not required. General office skills such as computer skills required.
