Job Description :
Duties / Responsibilities
Provide screening to patients that have endorsed suicidality as assessed by the ASQ
Provide screening to patients and / or parents of patients that have expressed concerns about non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, and / or homicidal ideation during the course of their medical care
Respond to consultation requests from medical teams regarding concerns for urgent and on-demand mental, emotional, or behavioral health needs
Partner with psychology and / or family services departments for further assessment and coordination, as needed
Develop care plans and / or treatment plans in accordance with risk findings and assessment of clinical needs
Provide case management in follow-up care to ensure successful access to services, as needed
Support mandated reporting procedures associated with recommended care plans
Coordinate appropriate referrals to internal and / or external mental health care when applicable
Identify, maintain, and share knowledge of resources in communities in which Scottish Rite patients reside
Required Skills / Abilities
Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW (required)
English (required)
Spanish (preferred)
Experience with crisis intervention and / or risk assessment required
Experience in a pediatric mental health setting required
Experience in a hospital setting preferred
Interest in clinical practice within the social services field
Experience working with athletes (Frisco location, preferred)
