Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct casting placement and removal
- Conduct traction setup and alignment of extremities
- Assist Orthopedic Surgeons as needed in inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Take patient measurements to fit for wheelchairs
- Enter information regarding patient orders and charges into the computer system
- Maintain all needed supplies for casting
- Performs other duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Orthopedic Technologist certification is preferred; relevant previous experience may be accepted
- Orthopedic casting experience and fracture care experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- CPR certification required
