Scottsdale Bible Church’s (SBC) new Tempe Campus is underway and will be located on East Southern Ave and Loop 101. God has faithfully grown SBC from a humble beginning of 13 people in 1962 to more than 6500 meeting weekly on four (soon to be five!) campuses. With plans to start other multi-site campuses in the coming years, we continue to press forward to take the message of Jesus into our communities throughout the Valley!

As the Tempe Groups & Enrichment Pastor/Minister, you are a vital part of the Team, responsible for carrying on the Vision, Mission and Values of SBC. In this role, you will report to the Tempe Campus Pastor and are responsible for launching and nurturing groups at the Tempe Campus through leadership identification, development, and oversight. Groups are essential to discipleship, fostering spiritual growth and community. We envision every member being part of a small group, deepening their faith and connection with others.

Your Essential Responsibilities
In this position, you will:

- Assist in developing and maintaining a simple and effective assimilation process
- Assist in developing and supporting a promotional strategy for the various groups
- Assist in developing and executing a system to coach group leaders
- Assist in the development and support of teams that support the groups vision
- Matrix across campus venues to ensure group effectiveness and consistency
- Assist in developing systems and processes for identifying potential leaders
- Assist in developing and provide regular training for group leaders
- Assist in creating oversight structure for nurturing group leaders
- Responsible for the ongoing recruitment, training and appreciation of volunteers for the ministry
- Commitment to developing volunteers who move through the PEO process – Participation, Engagement, and Ownership
- Maintains updated serving teams of all your volunteers in ROCK
- Provide biblical counseling to members at large
- Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and communion as needed
- Preach and teach at various settings when needed, particularly in a classroom setting
- Related duties or special projects as assigned

- A level of education (or working toward) and experience commensurate with the position: Master of Arts or Master of Divinity or equivalent
- 5 years of demonstrated ministry leadership experience
- 3 years of related experience
