Requirements :
Volunteer Coaches must be at least 21 years of age.
Volunteer Coaches are required to complete a Criminal Background Affidavit, submit to a Background Check AND provide an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC) OR receive a one-time printing by the District.
Volunteer Coaches must obtain the following certifications :
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- NFHS Concussion in Sports
- NFHS First Aid, Health, and Safety Certificate / CPR (preferred)
- NFHS Cheer and Dance Safety Certification (High School Cheer / Pom / Spirit Line only)
- Attach required documentation to your application
After you have submitted your application online you will need to directly contact the school(s) at which you are requesting to be a volunteer coach. Volunteer Coach applications cannot be processed without approval from the school(s) office - please allow time for processing.
